    Oswegoland Park District maintains many beautiful Park facilities and offers excellent recreational programs throughout Oswego and parts of the surrounding communities. One of the great community parks is Chesterfield Park (139 Chesterfield Drive).     Oswego Community Unit School District 308 serves all of the residents of Oswego as well as residents residing in parts of the neighboring communities of Aurora, Joliet, Montgomery, Plainfield, and Yorkville.     Health and Transportation in Oswego

    Oswego residents are conveniently located near many excellent medical facilities. Rush Copley operates Convenient Care Center and Family Medicine/Pediatric offices within Oswego. Edward-Elmhurst Health Center – Oswego (6701 US Highway 34) is also located right in town. There are several full service hospitals in nearby Aurora, a short 20 minute drive from Oswego, including Rush-Copley Medical Center  (2000 Ogden Avenue) and Presence Mercy Medical Center (1325 North Highland Avenue).

    With U.S. Route 34 running directly through Oswego, it is easy for residents to travel throughout the Fox Valley and Chicago metropolitan area. There are several Metra stations located in nearby communities for Oswego residents that prefer to commute to downtown Chicago via the rail.
