Flooding Closes Section Of 127th Street In Plainfield
A weekend of rain has created flooding in some areas.
PLAINFIELD, IL — A section of 127th Street was closed Monday morning due to flooding. The road was closed west of Route 59 between Van Dyke Road and Kensington Drive as of around 9:30 a.m., police said. The closing came after the village received more than three inches of rain over the weekend.
“Always use caution and drive SLOWLY through standing water,” police advised residents on Twitter.
